Highway Design & Highway Maintenance Engineers

Were currently seeking a Highway Design Engineer on a contract basis to join their team. Offering a dynamic work environment involved in the design and maintenance of essential transport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing highway projects from inception to completion
Preparing detailed technical reports and technical specifications
Ensuring all projects comply with relevant health and safety standards
Collaborating with other engineers, planners, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Conducting site visits and assessments as required
Utilising highway design software and tools to develop efficient solutions
Providing technical support and advice throughout the project lifecycle
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements

Job Requirements:

Experience in highway design
Proficiency with highway design software and relevant modelling tools
Strong understanding of highway engineering principles and practices
Ability to prepare and review technical specifications and reports
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
