Job Description
Delta NEU Limited is the UK subsidiary of the international NEU-JKF Group and has over 40 years’ experience in air technologies.
Delta NEU design and sell solutions for dust control, waste extraction and industrial ventilation across a range of industries in particular, corrugated board, carton, can and food.
We are adding to our UK division and are actively recruiting for an experienced mechanical Design Engineer to join our established engineering team based at our offices in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
The Role:
* Carrying out site measures with the Project Engineer or Sales Manager
* Producing plant layout drawings
* Detailing of fabrication drawings for manufacture
* Obtaining quotations from suppliers for manufacture
* Inspection of fabrications at supplier premises
* Some project engieering support to the Engineering Manager
The Requirements:
* A strong customer focus
* Excellent level of communication skills
* Experience of working on customer manufacturing sites
* A recognised engineering qualification ideally to HNC level
* A thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
* 3D Inventor knowlege is desirable
* Some project engineering experince is desirable
* You may be required to undertake very occasional overseas travel, including technical training at Group HQ in Lille, France
