Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Westcliff-on-Sea
Starting Date: ASAP
Salary range: £90-£110 per day
Contract type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in enhancing learning and engagement in the classroom. Your contributions will help create a positive and inclusive environment for all students. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse group of young people and to be part of a supportive team.
Job Responsibilities of Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
Help prepare learning materials and resources.
Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback.
Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
Foster a positive and safe learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications of Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):
A genuine passion for working with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with teacher, students, staffs and parents.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential.
A good understanding of the curriculum and classroom management.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
A valid DBS check is required for this role.
