Job Title: Credit Controller
Reporting To: Group Credit Manager
Location: Wilmslow/working from home
Salary £25,000 + bonus
Hours of Work: 37.5
12-months fixed-term contract
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join our Credit Control team managing one of the Citation Group Company ledgers.
Key duties will include:
* Proactively managing & collecting debts from company debtors via telephone & email
* Ensuring timely payment of invoices
* Resolving customer queries with assistance from other departments
* Reconciling customer accounts
* Cash allocation
* Preparing & issuing customer statements detailing outstanding amount
* Weekly reporting/updates
The Person
* Knowledge and experience of credit control processes, procedures and reporting
* Transactional finance knowledge and understanding
* Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
* Professional attitude and persona
* Positive outlook
* Strong work ethic
* Able to prioritise workload
* Ability to communicate with clients and staff at all levels
* Generate and maintain solid working relationships with customers and colleagues
