The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Package Engineering Analyst (m/f/*), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Enabling the creation, comprehension, and analysis of packaging data and documentation to support package engineer, plant, and business stakeholder requirements
Calculating packaged product weight and dimensional details in accordance with GS1 guidelines
Ensuring the accuracy of packaging data and documentation across corporate systems by controlling and improving Package Engineering processes via the quality management system (QMS)
Using knowledge and expertise of software systems to facilitate improvements to Package Engineering process efficiency and effectiveness by developing system tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, documentation, and training
Researching business opportunities by analyzing packaging data and creating reports to support data-driven strategies and decisions
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Relevant working experience
Ability to understand and communicate in verbal and written English
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Ability to think critically using a systems and process-driven mindset
Experience with big data, data analytics, and data visualization
Knowledge of packaging materials and package engineering
Familiarity of working with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement business functions
Experience in a regulated industry, such as, but not limited to: healthcare, automotive, aerospace, food and beverage, or other applicable industries
Working knowledge of ISO 13485, cGMP, and GS1
Skills: Cross-functional collaboration, organization, communication, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Platform, and technical writing
Work location:
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Duesseldorf at least 1 day per week)
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic or international travel
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
