Job Description

Position: Accounts Receivable Associate About You: We are looking for an ENERGETIC and DRIVEN individual with a passion and enthusiasm for numbers, that enjoys the fast pace of a dynamic work environment and the satisfaction of meeting challenging time constraints. Duties and Requirements: Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing a high volume of reconciliation of payments and customer accounts. Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectable amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared. Perform data entry associated with accounts receivable. Maintain precise records of all incoming payments. Prepare and send invoices to clients. Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies, follow up to ensure accuracy and information. Contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices. Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing. Work collaboratively with the accounting team to ensure accuracy in finances. Audit all receipts on a determined schedule to ensure accuracy in accounting. Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed. Actively investigate and resolve irregularities for incoming payments. Qualifications: 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience. Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Tech Savvy; skilled in MS Office, with a strong intermediate-advanced proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with v-lookups and pivot tables would be an asset. Ability to pick up new Accounting software quickly. Strong time management and organizational skills. High degree of attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle potentially challenging interactions with clients. A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals.
