Job Description

Vice President of Sales Ontario Our client, an industry leading Canadian distributor, is partnering with Charles Warren , of Lock Search Group , to acquire a new Vice President of Sales. The Vice President of Sales position is both strategic and tactical, involving conceptualizing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive profitable growth and expansion of market share in multiple unique customer verticals across Canada. The Vice President of Sales will uphold and promote company values and strategic priorities fostering a competitive, results driven, customer centric and collaborative sales team culture. Trust, integrity, and accountability are essential qualities to succeed in this leadership position, which is part of a high-performing executive leadership team reporting directly to the President. Responsibilities: Drive sales growth through strategic planning, effective team leadership, and cultivating strong relationships with key clients to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction. Utilize analytics to monitor sales performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement. Provide leadership and guidance on pricing and product positioning while developing and implementing market share strategies. Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team and CRM Administrator to create standardized reporting to enable highly effective management of sales team performance. Partner with HR to recruit top-tier sales talent and build high-performing sales teams. Establish and maintain solid, long-term business relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and vendors. Develop and execute strategic selling initiatives to exceed sales performance goals and objectives. Partner with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives to optimize results. Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to expand market share and drive revenue growth. Serve as a leadership role model in management and business development activities. Create an environment that promotes growth, accountability, customer focus, and consistency across all regions and divisions. Take a lead role on accounts as needed, including accompanying team members on client calls. Provide routine team and individual coaching and development. Offer direction, training, and performance management to develop sales team members. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred but not necessary) 10-15 years of senior leadership experience ideally in a sales management experience, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (Automotive aftermarket experience is an asset). High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, and Power BI. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong business and financial acumen with a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles and creating high-performing sales teams. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive profitable growth and expand market share. Deep appreciation and understanding of the importance of building long-term relationships and credibility with customers. Thorough understanding of sales analytics and the capability to leverage data to generate executive insights, facilitate decision-making, and drive overall results. Experienced in leading, motivating, building, and scaling high-performing sales teams to meet desired performance standards. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments to achieve shared company goals and objectives. Strong ability to create compelling sales presentations, client-specific proposals, and pricing models.
