Job Title: Internship - Technical Content and Packaged Solution Development Location: Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Cape Town Job Type: Contract, expected to work [8 hours a day] Primary Industry: Engineering Salary: ZAR4500 - ZAR5300 Per month Company Branding: Pragma is a global developer of high-performing software solutions and technologies. We are looking for a tech-savvy, process-oriented individual to help us package meticulous solutions that serve clients worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a natural drive to improve processes and end-user documentation. Job Duties: Support the development of sector specific solutions: Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize and write procedure manuals, technical specifications and process documentation Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content Build knowledge of new technical tools and relevant technology on a continuous basis Evaluate existing software functionality and identify areas of application in the sector specific solutions Explore alternative methods to do work more effectively Interact with users after each implementation and identify areas for improvement Support the technical document authoring function: Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement Implement updates to technical documentation Develop well-designed user manuals and release documentation Adhere to documentation standards and style guidelines Ascertain compliance to documentation standards Work with subject matter experts to maintain content Proofread and edit material to improve quality, readability, consistency and effectiveness of documentation Required Qualifications: Experience in process development Experience in content authoring Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Minimum requirements: 0-12 months experience Between the ages of 18 and 34 Never participated in the YES programe before Education: Minimum diploma in Engineering or related field Experience: Previous experience (0-12 months) in a technical content development role is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of software development processes Proficiency in content authoring tools Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or related field Certifications in process improvement methodologies Working Conditions: This role will primarily be based in an office setting, with occasional remote work opportunities. The intern may be required to attend meetings with clients and team members.
