Job Description

Facilities Manager - Cape Town This person will be expected to perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks within the specific time-frames agreed to in the relevant SLA, at the acceptable quality standards and in compliance with relevant legislation. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage Data Centre activities from a facilities infrastructure perspective e.g. power requirements and installations, HVAC daily health checks and maintain critical fire systems. Oversee and manage domestic & fire water system and repairs. Assist / coordinate Group Facilities building projects e.g. office moves, office fit outs, infrastructure stallions. Coordinate general maintenance. Monitor and manage maintenance management critical plant and equipment e.g. UPS, generators, lights, fire systems. Conduct OHS contractors safety induction and file inspections. Requirements: National Diploma: Electrical / Mechanical Engineering - minimum NQF 8 Formal certification in facilities management Strong electrical system background - an advantage 5-10 years experience in a corporate / hospitality maintenance environment Data Centre experience essential
