Job Description

We are rapidly expanding and seek a detail-oriented Electrical Production Planner to enhance our product development. In this role you will create, modify, and manage production schedules to support continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Evaluate Requirements: Assess MRP needs and propose optimal supply solutions. Schedule Jobs: Align production schedules with MRP, considering procurement lead times. Manage Bottlenecks: Identify and resolve issues related to long lead time items. Material Planning: Plan and implement material requirements for electrical components. Procurement Coordination: Prepare data packs with project managers to ensure timely material delivery. Supplier Management: Oversee external suppliers builds of electrical equipment. Expedite Items: Identify and expedite critical items through the supply chain. Resource Verification: Ensure material and equipment availability for production, maintaining optimal inventory. Issue Resolution: Address production issues promptly to minimize delays. Schedule Monitoring: Adjust production schedules as needed to meet deadlines. Communication: Inform relevant departments of any changes affecting production schedules. ERP Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of an improved ERP system. Qualifications: Education: National Diploma in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 3 years in project management or planning/scheduling. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications; knowledge of MRP and ERP software is advantageous. Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
