Location: Ringwood
Salary: c £27k
Hours: 8am-4pm on site (30 mins lunch) Mon-Fri

Aspire Jobs are delighted to be partnering our client on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant. Our client is well established and has grown year-on-year and developed a strong reputation within their construction sector. With a workforce of around 400, they are now expanding their accounts department and are looking for someone with Purchase Ledger experience, wanting to develop their career in Accounts.
The company are currently transitioning from Sage 50 to a bespoke accounts package. They will be running both systems alongside each other for 3–6 months, so the successful Purchase Ledger Assistant must have a working knowledge of Sage 50 purchase ledger, or similar.
The successful applicant will have:-
* Previous Sage 50 experience
* Previous purchase ledger/accounts experience
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Confidence in using Excel
* Self -motivation
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Receiving purchase ledger invoices via PDF / supplier portals.
* Purchase ledger invoice checking, coding and data entry.
* Purchase ledger filing.
* Month-end supplier statement reconciliation.
* Assisting with month-end procedures
