Kitchen Assistant - Full Time
Location: Staines
Salary: £11.50 weekdays, £12 weekends
Contracted Hours: 40 per week
Set Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 3.20pm
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team at a nursing home in Staines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and wants to contribute to the well-being of our residents by helping to prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the chef with meal preparation and serving
Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
Following food safety standards and regulations
Assisting with stock control and rotation
Supporting the catering team in delivering high-quality meals to residentsWhat We're Looking For:
Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
A team player with a positive attitude
Good communication and time management skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (training can be provided)
