Mechanical Estimator

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join a dynamic team, working on projects valued up to £6 million within the Greater Manchester area. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tenders for projects up to £6 million.
• Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather project requirements and cost data.
• Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate pricing.
• Assisting in value engineering and cost control strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical estimating, ideally in building services or construction.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
