Teacher of Chemistry (Location: North Kent)

Our client are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join a highly successful and popular Science Department at a selective school for students aged 11-18. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact by working with high-achieving, motivated students. The role includes teaching Chemistry up to A level in a well-resourced department.

Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: January 2024
Salary: M1-UPS3 (Main Pay Scale to Upper Pay Scale, dependent on experience)

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified Science teacher withQTSand a specialism in Chemistry, able to teach across the curriculum up to A level.
• An outstanding classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge, a rigorous approach to assessment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and innovative in their teaching methods.
• A collaborative team member, willing to contribute to the wider school community and activities.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, and flexible working arrangements will be considered.
