Job Description
Service Care Solutions is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end construction and facilities management (FM) procurement exercises for a client in Tower Hamlets.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in public sector procurement, specifically in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) and the use of JCT Suite of contracts.
This is a full time, temporary role offering £475 per day Umberlla LTD (£361.33 per day PAYE).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage construction and FM procurement exercises in line with PCR 2015 and organisational procedures.
Assemble and complete tender packs, working closely with project teams and internal departments.
Lead over-threshold procurements and call-offs from frameworks such as ESPO, YPO, and CCS.
Use the London Tender e-procurement portal (Proactis) or similar systems to run procurement processes.
Support post-tender evaluation, including moderation processes and contract awards.
Advise clients to ensure compliance with procurement regulations and manage high-profile procurement projects independently.
Lead and develop Category Officers within project teams.Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience managing procurement in a Local Authority or equivalent public body.
Good working knowledge of JCT contracts and PCR 2015 compliance.
Experience in using public buying organisation frameworks and e-procurement systems.
