About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety protocols across our offices and construction sites. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update Health & Safety documents for the offices
* Conduct site visits to assist with compiling preconstruction information (PCIs)
* Develop and set up Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) for submission
* Perform random site inspections during the construction phase using our site check template
* Support all health & safety matters related to ISO requirements
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety standards are met and exceeded
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager, preferably in the construction industry
* Must have site-based construction experience
* Ideally from a fit-out company background
* NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and health & safety software
