EYFS Teacher (Two-Form Entry Primary School) - Chesham
Location: Chesham
Salary: Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2025 (or as soon as possible)
Are you passionate about early years education and committed to making a difference for all children? We are working on behalf of a welcoming and diverse two-form entry primary school in Chesham is looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join the dedicated team. With a high proportion of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), we are seeking a teacher who is committed to nurturing every child's potential and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework, meeting the needs of all learners, including those with SEN
Foster a warm, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported
Work closely with SEN specialists and support staff to differentiate teaching and learning for pupils with additional needs
Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring that individual learning plans are followed and adapted as necessary
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support each child's development and well-being
Collaborate with the wider staff team to ensure the continuous development of the EYFS provision and inclusive practices
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in EYFS and working with children with SEN
A deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
A nurturing, patient, and inclusive approach to teaching, with a passion for supporting all learners
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including parents, SEN professionals, and other staff members
Commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork
