Territory Sales Representative – Industrial GTA West, ON Our client, a recognized national leader, and manufacturer, of industrial infrastructure has engaged Jason Springthorpe of the Lock Search Group to assist them in finding an exceptional individual for the role of a Territory Sales Representative . This role will manage and grow the company’s customer base within the GTA West Region. This home-based sales position will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new & existing clients, assessing their needs, making product and service recommendations, as well as providing accurate product knowledge and consultation. The successful candidate will posses a passionate and fearless attitude, they will be extremely motivated by uncapped commission potential. Our client is excited to bring on a proven sales professional that has the drive and interest to hunt, but also possess the capacity and experience to manage an existing book of active accounts. What you will be doing: Managing a robust territory through effective time management and strategic planning Identify opportunities and draft formal quotations for significant repairs, equipment, and services, ready for presentation to both existing customers and potential prospects. Secure management approval and obtain signatures for any applicable discounts. Conduct thorough research to pinpoint competitive users and non-users within the designated territory, with the goal of promoting service agreements, substantial repairs, and comprehensive overhauls. Direct qualified leads to the appropriate representatives for all offered products and services. Formulate strategic action plans aimed at converting competitive users and non-users into dedicated clients of our services. Actively engage in efforts to retain existing accounts. Sustain ongoing communication with customers and prospects within the assigned territory through a combination of face-to-face meetings, telephone correspondence, and email interactions. Identify specific needs and cultivate key segments for maintenance contracts, workshop and fieldwork services, power-related solutions, and various industrial equipment offerings. Deliver comprehensive product information, encompassing features, benefits, and updates on new product lines. Present comprehensive training options and lease agreements in relation to proposed equipment and services. Serve as a dedicated representative, actively promoting all internal services and divisions to our valued customers. The experience you bring: Post secondary is a plus Minimum of 3 years of autonomous outside sales experience is mandatory, with a preference for candidates with expertise in new account acquisition and hunter sales…as well knowledge with sell service agreements, and equipment sales Ability and interest to work from a home office Comfort working with a CRM & other reporting tools Demonstrated prowess in prospect conversion and closing deals while consistently meeting established sales quotas. Proficiency in opportunity qualification, meticulous pre-visit planning, effective call management, strategic account development, and adept time and territory management. Proven track record in identifying opportunities that involve multiple key decision makers. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to deftly address objections Capability to cultivate and sustain enduring customer relationships. Self-driven and possessed of high energy, along with an infectious enthusiasm for the role. Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
