Our client is now looking for a Furniture Project Manager.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Furniture Project Manager to join our dynamic furniture team. The successful candidate will oversee the installation of furniture on site, manage elements leading up to the installation, and handle follow-up activities post-installation. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills to ensure the seamless delivery and installation of furniture projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Installation Phase:

* Track all orders to ensure timely delivery.

* Collate and organize information for scheduled install dates.

* Coordinate with the design team to ensure all drawings are up-to-date and accurate.

* Work closely with the project team to manage site access and logistics.

* Compile risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for each project.

Installation Phase:

* Oversee the installation process, ensuring all elements are installed correctly.

* Conduct thorough checks for any damage or defects in the furniture.

* Report any snags or issues to suppliers promptly for resolution.

Post-Installation Phase:

* Follow up on any missing items or defects that need addressing.

* Provide training to the client team on the proper use and maintenance of the furniture.

* Ensure complete client satisfaction and proper handover of the project.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in project management, preferably within the furniture or interior design industry.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.

* Familiarity with logistics, site access planning, and RAMS compilation.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience in working on-site installations.

* Knowledge of furniture products and industry standards.

* Strong client service orientation with the ability to train and support client teams.

Working Conditions:

* The role will involve both office work and on-site management.

* Flexibility to travel to various project sites as required.

* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage stress effectively.
