Future Directions CIC are recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join our fantastic team in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will have working experience supporting adults with Mental Health conditions and be able to lead a team to provide person centred care.

We’re looking for someone like you to manage the day-to-day running of one of our services in Rochdale. Here, we provide a supported housing service for 2 females who require mental health support. Therefore experience working with adults with mental health conditions is a must, experience working with individuals who present a self-injury risk would be desired.
Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as well as being values and outcome driven, able to lead by example using your firm, Values Driven but inclusive management style. You’re transparent and encouraging too, and have lots of tact and diplomacy.
Skills:
* Ability to lead a team
* Strong person centred approach
* Resilient (bounce back ability) with the ability to support people with complex Mental Health needs
* Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and its practical application in a support setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that staff shifts are flexible to enable sufficient cover to meet People we Support’s needs & wishes.
* Ensure that the support to People we Support/other work is being planned and organised effectively.
* Ensure induction of staff, including roles and responsibilities is carried out in accordance with Policy and Procedures.
* Ensure that identified Mandatory Training for staff is carried out.
* Ensure that all staff within the network have regular person centred supervision (Job Consultation) and annual appraisal in accordance with the procedures and contract requirements.
* Undertake and monitor workplace risk assessments.
* As per procedure undertake On-Call duties.
Requirements:
* Experience in working within a supported living setting
* A caring and patient attitude with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid driver's license – be a confident driver and able to drive manual and automatic cars is desired

Pay: £29,929.00-£34,929.00 per year

* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability

* Leading/Managing a Team: 1 year (required)
* Working within a Supported Living Service: 1 year (required)
* Forensic Support: 1 year (required)
* Supporting individuals who present self-injury risk: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
* NVQ Lvl 3 in Health & Social Care / other relevant course? (required)
* Drivers Licence (required)
