Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school's operations. This includes overseeing facilities management, health and safety, administrative support, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
Oversee the maintenance and improvement of school facilities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage the school's budget and financial planning.
Coordinate administrative support services, including HR and IT.
Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
Support the Headteacher and senior leadership team in strategic planning and decision-making.Person Specification:
Proven experience in operations management, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
Proficiency in IT and administrative systems.
