RECONCILIATION CLERK CONTRACT (6 MONTHS) TORONTO, ON Are you detailed and numbers driven? Are you an experienced Financial Administrator who specializes in reconciliation matters? Do you want to work for a reputable firm that will help you build a strong network? The Company Our Client is an established firm that offers services in financial services including wealth management as experts and financial advice. They are excited to be building their team and are seeking an administrator who knows GL and journal entries and how general ledgers work to support reconciliations. Company Perks and Rewards Competitive Pay Rate ($25-28/hr) Great opportunity to network and build your skillset Office in downtown Toronto Hybrid work model (3 days in office) The Job In this role you will enjoy working alongside and collaborating with team members in a result oriented and supporting environment. You will take responsibility for the daily and monthly reconciliations, analyzing accounts and rectifying any discrepancies. You will also be responsible for the following: Work closely with internal accounting teams in accounts receivable and accounts payable teams to resolve any discrepancies. Updating bank balance reports. Send weekly updates to senior Financial Managers. Supporting monthly, quarterly and year-end financial process. Preparing and filing HST returns. Other related tasks, as required. What you bring to the job You are someone who comes with the following responsibilities: A completed post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or related experience. 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role. Must be able to understand debit/credits, investigate discrepancies, and identify sources. Strong MS Office experience with an emphasis on Excel. Effective communication skills.
