Job Description
Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional plumbing and heating contractor operating within the private sector.
Due to growth, they have several vacancies for domestic plumbers to join their team on a self employed contract basis covering either North West, West, or South West London areas carrying out general plumbing maintenance, repairs, and wet works within domestic properties.
Duties:
* General Plumbing Maintenance inclusive of:
* Replacing Radiators and TRVs
* Replacing Ball Valves
* Replacing Pipework
* Replacing Cylinders
* Identifying and Fixing Leaks
* Fixing and Replacing Taps
* Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis.
* Meeting business KPIs
* Following Health & Safety Guidelines
Candidate Requirements:
* 1 years’ experience as a Plumber
* Previous experience working within domestic properties carrying out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing systems
* Diploma, City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Plumbing
* Full UK Driving Licence – no more than 6 points
* No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
Salary & Package:
* Plumbing Diploma & 2 years’ experience - £92.00 per day plus £4.00 per completed job
* NVQ Level 2- & 6 months experience - £100.00 per day plus £4.00 per completed job and performance related bonus up to £400.00 per month
* NVQ Level 2 & 2 years’ experience - £125.00 per day plus £4.00 per completed job and performance related bonus up to £400.00 per month
* NVQ Level 2 & 4 years’ experience - £130.00 per day plus £4.00 per completed job and performance related bonus up to £400.00 per month
* Expected earnings – Day Rate plus 8 completed jobs per day on average
* Van & Fuelcard Provided
* Minimum of set 3 days per week. Up to 5 days available plus optional weekends and evening call out available at enhanced rates.
