• Develop and implement engaging and innovative science lesson plans for students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level.
• Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
