Senior Mechanical Estimator
We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to play a crucial role in our clients dynamic and expanding business. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
* Analysing drawings and prepare and maintain cost estimates for review and tender submission.
* Coordinate within the Design, Commercial and Engineering teams in preparation for tender review and sign off.
* Able to produce own take offs
* Able to work independently and within a team
* Happy to attend all mid and post tender meetings
* Liaising with current and new clients
* Updating tender documents via companies system
* To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender process
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in tendering projects up to £10M within the mechanical sector.
* Proficient in the Trimble
* Strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of the construction industry.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to foster trust and collaboration with clients and suppliers.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify cost-effective engineering solutions.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
* Proven problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to work.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
