Job Description
Chapman Recruitment have an excellent opportunity at Manchester Airport to join a well-established engineering company. Our client is an M&E contractor, specialising in Industrial project work with 20+ years of experience that are seeking a Mechanical Site Lead to serve as the right hand to the management team. The ideal candidate will oversee on-site operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Experienced Mechanical Lead Requirements:
* Experience installation with Baggage Handling Systems (Vanderlande/Dematic, Beck and Pollister).
* Mechanical Qualifications and experience.
* CSCS or equivalent.
* SMSTS black card.

The successful Mechanical lead will be responsible for:
* POWER checks – Tool and plant, with Tool Box Talks – At least 1 per week.
* H&S Audit of all working areas.
* Labour Management.
* Material Management.
* Ensure daily shift reports are completed and works logged.
* Attend weekly meetings when requested to review progress and reconcile anomalies.
* Drive targets in line with programme.
* Identify change or potential change and request work packs to allow for monitoring of time and cost spent.
