Do you have previous experience working within Accounts and/or studying towards your AAT Level 4?
Are you someone who can spot discrepancies and provide resolutions to suit all? If so, then this could be the job for you!
I'm currently recruiting a General Accountant for a well-known company based in Milton Keynes. This is a vital part of the finance function where you will be a key member of the team and be able to add real value to the ever-changing finance department. This is a Fixed term contract until June 2025, so must be able to commit the full duration.
Responsibilities include:
Bank Reconciliation
VAT tasks
AP/AR
Manage payroll - preparation and processing
Month end processes - accruals and repayments
Headcount reporting
Assist with maintaining data to assist with budgets and forecasting
Assist with annual auditsSkills must include:
Previous accounting experience
VAT experience
Level 4 AAT or working towards
Good understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office
Can work to tight deadlines and adapt to new challenges
Have exceptional attention to detail and can multi-task
An enthusiastic attitude to work and the people around you
