Interim General Counsel

Pure Search is supporting a London based international law firm with the search for an interim General Counsel.

With offices across Europe, the UK and the US, you will provide strategic legal guidance to the management team and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across the firm’s global operations. Working closely alongside the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP), you will also have overall responsibility for all claims and litigation matters and be expected to take a proactive approach on risk management.

As a hands on role, you will oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements entered into by the firm as well as protecting the company's intellectual property portfolio.

Operating a hybrid working approach (3 days a week onsite), you will be expected to adapt quickly to the corporate culture of the firm and align yourself well with the ambitious executive team. The proposed contract is for a period of 4-6 months but there is a good chance that this could be extended. Additionally, the role will be outside of IR35 with an enticing day rate on offer.
