Paralegal

DMJ is partnering with a market leading FMCG company to recruit an interim paralegal to support their expanding legal team.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Legal Counsel, and will work closely with the rest of the EMEA Legal team and the Marketing team in the preparation and negotiation of marketing/sponsorship agreements.

Responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the EMEA Legal team and the EMEA Marketing team
• Update and maintain form contracts and other commercial agreements
• Working closely with other members of the tight-knit and non-hierarchal Legal team
• Drafting and negotiation of various kinds of marketing agreements, including sponsorship agreements, master service agreements, brand partnership agreements, IP license agreements, confidentiality agreements, amongst other responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong academic record, ideally with completion of an LLB and LPC
• Previous paralegal experience in a commercial context (either in-house or private practice)
• Demonstrable commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail
• Experience drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial contracts
