Candidate required: Estimator -Civils and RC Frame
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: Immediate

Salary & package: £DOE + Package
The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced Estimator to join a company who specialise in Groundworks and RC Frame packages for Commercial and private Residential developments.
Size of projects will vary from £300K to £3M+ and include all types of Groundworks and External works as well as all RC works for the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide detailed priced estimates for tenders, often based on an outline design.
Revise prices as required based on design iterations.
Compile a take-off and bill of quantities for work items on each scheme.
Identify risks and opportunities for each scheme, clarifying inclusions and exclusions.
Develop an initial program of works to support the estimate for each scheme.
Maintain an up-to-date file and archive of priced schemes.
Keep an updated price book of rates.
Attend and present the proposed tender at tender sign-off meetings. The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate preferably will be local and a hard-working individual with excellent communication skills, as well as a strong background within Estimating with extensive Civils and RC Frame experience.
Training/Progression opportunities:
Future opportunities to progress into a Senior Estimator position Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
