With a headcount of 45 and a £30m turnover, the company is growing due to their international media offering, meaning there are strong opportunities for growth as the business develops.

They are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their business.

You'll be reporting to the FD and CEO.

As the Financial Controller, your role will involve:

The role involves migrating from Sage Line 50 to Xero, so experience with these systems, especially Xero, is highly preferred.
Both qualified and part-qualified candidates will be considered. Finding the right candidate is essential, as the company owner values personality fit highly.
The candidate must be comfortable working independently, as they may be the sole member of the finance team.
The role is not highly technical in terms of accounting but requires someone confident in transitioning from cost accounting to an accruals-based system.
General accounting experience, including AR, AP, GL, and Payroll, is desirable.
The candidate should be willing to engage in both transactional and higher-level aspects of the operation.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
Ideally, the candidate should have a knack for process improvement and developing reporting. Currently, there is minimal month-by-month management reporting produced.Benefits:
