Business Consultant

Business Consultant | Cost Estimation / SaaS / Software Consulting

A specialist software company specialising in construction cost engineering practice with expertise in civil engineering and infrastructure is looking to hire a Business Consultant in Manchester (2 days onsite) on a 6-month contract. Immediate start date preferred.

Main Duties:

• Strategic coordination of internal resources to service the customer's software development projects and professional services/consulting engagements.
• Build rapport with the customer to become a trusted advisor by understanding their business drivers and dynamics.
• Utilise business acumen in internal and external stakeholder meetings to improve customer relationships.
• Monitor and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure they meet their commitments in terms of deliverables, timelines, scope, and quality.
• Lead tactical decisions to protect the business goals whilst strengthening the relationship with strategic customers.

Necessary Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
• Strong experience in client-facing roles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing software implementation projects.
• Understanding of business operations, financial metrics, and industry trends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve shared goals.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration or a related field.
• Experience in consulting or professional services.
• Knowledge of SaaS products.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and expand client accounts.
• Experience in Pre and Post Sales
