Our client provides rail to road, dry freight, refrigerated and bulk freight services across Australia. They have an exciting opportunity for Forklift Operators to join their well-established team on a casual basis located in the Forrestfield area with AM or PM shifts available. Free onsite parking and a competitive hourly rate of $35.36 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + shift penalties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading/unloading trucks, trailers, containers and rail wagons


• Use of counterbalance forklift (Gas 2.5T - 5T and Electric 1.8T)


• Restraining loads


• Some manual handling duties


• Moving of awkward/ugly freight


• Opportunities to work in either dry or cold storage environment


• Working in a safe manner

Successful candidates will have:

• Current LF High Risk Work license


• Experience operating a Forklift is essential


• Logistics experience is advantageous


• Have flexibility with working hours and availability to work weekends if required


• Great punctuality & time management


• Ability to work in fast -paced environments
