Position Overview:

As the Facilities Manager - Infrastructure and Build, you will be pivotal in ensuring the Penrose site operates at peak efficiency. You will manage all maintenance operations, focus on BWoF compliance, and lead major CAPEX projects to enhance infrastructure and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Site Leadership: Oversee all infrastructure and build-related maintenance and improvement activities, ensuring high performance and safety standards.

  • BWoF Management: Ensure strict adherence to Building Warrant of Fitness (BWoF) requirements, maintaining rigorous standards and comprehensive documentation.

  • CAPEX Project Management: Lead and manage CAPEX projects, driving engineering and infrastructure enhancements in alignment with strategic goals.

  • Permit Management: Issue permits for maintenance and major projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and thorough documentation.

  • Scheduling & Planning: Develop and implement effective scheduling tools for maintenance activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to all facilities regulations, including BWoF and other compliance requirements.

  • Contract Management: Develop, manage, and monitor contracts for facilities maintenance, ensuring clear scope, objectives, and contractor performance.


Required Qualifications & Experience:



  • Extensive Experience: Over 5 years in a related trade or maintenance role, with proven experience in managing contractors and leading infrastructure or building projects.

  • BWoF Expertise: Deep knowledge and experience in managing Building Warrant of Fitness (BWoF) requirements and ensuring full compliance.

  • CAPEX Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage CAPEX projects, focusing on engineering and infrastructure improvements.

  • Safety & Compliance Focus: Strong commitment to maintaining safety and compliance across all operations, with detailed knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.

  • Preferred Skills: Experience with issuing Permits to Work, managing teams, and strategic thinking for long-term facility improvements.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
