About the Opportunity


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Regional Manager to join our Grounds & Open Spaces Team. This role oversees a diverse portfolio of contracts across the north-west of Victoria, delivering comprehensive grounds management solutions to a range of private and public sector clients. You will ensure the successful and safe delivery of operations by effectively managing assets, personnel, and scheduling, while driving new business development to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.


This permanent full-time position is based in Sunshine West, VIC offering you the chance to apply your management and leadership skills while driving operational excellence and growth. You will also play a key role in asset management, compliance, and safety across the region.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:



  • Oversee north-west Victorian region of Grounds & Open Spaces business.

  • Ensuring that staff are trained to safely and efficiently use equipment and resources.

  • Supporting business growth through customer management and cross-selling activities.

  • Reviewing and approving estimates to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.

  • Managing compliance and safety standards across all operations.

  • Profit & loss budget management.

  • Delivering exceptional client service by regularly visiting sites, addressing any issues, and ensuring projects are completed to client expectations.



About You


To excel in this role, you will have a proven background in the grounds management industry (gardening/horticulture, turf, landscaping, irrigation etc) coupled with strong management skills. Your ability to manage people, assets, and operational schedules will be key to your success. A passion for business development and customer satisfaction is essential. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:



  • Tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential; relevant experience will be considered.

  • Demonstrated management experience including P&L responsibility.



  • Highly developed communication and strong stakeholder engagement ability.

  • Strong asset management and compliance experience.

  • A proactive approach to business development and client relationships.
