Foreperson - Sports and Mowing

THE ROLE:

As a Foreperson in the Sports & Mowing division at Programmed your key focus areas will be Leadership & People Management, Creation and Implementation of efficiencies in Operations and H&S Safety management. You will take a hands-on approach to delivering high standards of service to our clients through efficient management of operational resources.

This role will see you leading a team of 10-12 employees within our Sports & Cricket team. The role is based in the Henderson depot on the Concourse and is guaranteed min 40 hours Monday to Friday with negotiable start and finish times, but ideally between 6:00am to 4:00pm. The role comes with use of a work vehicle for work purposes, laptop, mobile phone and full PPE.

ABOUT YOU:

• 3+ years proven experience in leading teams in a similar turf industry


• Turf Management Certificate


• Ability to build and influence strong relationships with clients and internal key stake holders


• Strong time management, planning and organisational skills


• Good communications skill - both verbal and written


• A leader that leads by example and with integrity


• Minimum Full Class 1 license required but Class 2 NZ license is preferred


• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Skillset is fantastic but above all else this team values culture so the ideal candidate is someone that works alongside the team, can build a good rapport quickly and is not afraid to jump of their comfort zone to support other teams when required.
