GRANTS ADMINISTRATION & SYSTEMS LEAD

  • Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $106,025 - $117,363
  • Temporary 12-month role based in Sydney, NSW

We have a temporary Grants Administration & System Lead position within our Grants Operations team and will support Screen NSW.

Screen NSW focuses on assisting, promoting and strengthening the screen industry in NSW to promote Australia’s cultural identity, encourage employment in all aspects of screen production, stimulate investment in the sector, amplify the industry’s export potential, encourage innovation and enhance quality in the industry.

The Grants Administration & Systems Lead coordinates and undertakes the implementation, maintenance and delivery of administration and data/information systems relevant to funding programs, provides technical advice and support, and produces regular and ad-hoc reports to support effective planning, administration and decision making. The role also contributes to relevant development, planning and improvement initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate activities associated with the implementation, maintenance and delivery of administrative and data/information systems for relevant funding programs.
  • Facilitate implementation and delivery of information resources and train the Grants Operations team on relevant data/information.
  • Provide technical support to system users.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports with analysis to support planning and decision making associated with policy/program development, investments and funding programs.
  • Assist in enhancing investment and funding frameworks and processes for better decision-making.
  • Provide advice on admin and data systems, manage risks, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to support and represent Create NSW.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Sound specialist knowledge and proven experience in the management and administration of database/information systems, analysis, reporting and records management, and/or
  • Extensive experience with SmartyGrants or similar Grants management service
