About the role

The Artist Model Draped or Undraped supports the teaching of classes by posing for artists, (for example painters, sculptors and designers) by providing a dressed or undressed visual reference for the creation of various pieces of art.

The Artist Model is an important part of the creative process and must be comfortable in working without clothing, so that artists are able to effectively capture the human form. Diverse Models, (with different body shapes, ages etc) are required, so that artists have the opportunity to draw a range of ‘real people’

This position is casual and working at TAFE NSW’s Sydney region campuses. These include Ultimo, Enmore, Meadowbank, Northern beaches, Hornsby, and St George.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will understand life drawing classes, the ability to devise and maintain physical poses and be comfortable in your skin.
