Then you could be the perfect person to join the Binji & Boori team located on the Dharawal/Yuin lands. This is a wonderful opportunity for a Registered Midwife to join the Binji & Boori team. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team providing antenatal and postnatal care and support to women and their families.
We’re looking for a qualified Registered Midwife who will provide exceptional evidence-based culturally appropriate care to women throughout their antenatal and postnatal journey; who can effectively consult and refer as necessary, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care; who is highly skilled and adaptable to thrive in dynamic and varied work environments; who will work in partnership with women, their families, Aboriginal Health Services staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical, cultural, educational, and psychological support, as well as enhance the seamless transition to child and family health services and to other agencies as required.

ISLHD operate four hospital sites on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra: Coledale Hospital, Bulli Hospital, Wollongong Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital.
