About the Role

The Manager, Regulatory Education and Policy leads a team to deliver education, policy, analysis, and reports to support the regulatory functions of the NSW Electoral Commission, staff agency and electoral participants. The role manages the secretariat support for the 3-member NSW Electoral Commission statutory body.

The role is a temporary position until 6 June 2025.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Significant experience in understanding and applying complex legislation in professional scenarios / settings with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in policy and / or regulatory roles
  • Experience managing a team in a regulatory or government environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s
  • Politically neutral with no current or past affiliation to political parties or lobbyist/campaigners
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record check

This role is based in at our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office with a hybrid work arrangement.
