Manning Base Hospital invites applications from suitability qualified candidates that possess Registration with the Medical Board of Australia with a minimum of 2 years O&G experience and the ability to manage a busy birthing unit with O&G specialist back-up. Located in a vibrant community on the Barrington Coast, Manning Base Hospital is committed to delivering high quality care to women at every stage of life.

About the department
Busy birthing suite (approx. 650 deliveries p.a.) and outpatient clinics (including ANC, Gynaecology, High Risk Obstetrics and Colposcopy)
Surgical services including minimally invasive, open and laparoscopic surgery
JMO support (Accredited Registrar +/- Rural Generalists, SRMO and RMO)
Links to a well-established Department of Paediatrics with Special Care Nursery
Close relationship with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health with teaching students in Year 3 – 5 of the Joint Medical Program. Appointment as a Conjoint Academic is encouraged (level commensurate with qualifications and experience)
