The Cabinet Office is seeking applications to fill an immediate temporary vacancy and are offering the opportunity to join our Clerk Grade 11/12 Talent Pool that will be utilised for future ongoing and temporary opportunities.

About the Role and Talent Pool.

We currently have a temporary opportunity in the Social Policy Branch of the Social Policy & Intergovernmental Relations Group within TCO.

Additionally, we are seeking interested policy professionals to join our Clerk Grade 11/12 Talent Pool to fill future vacancies across the Group as they arise over the next 18 months.

About the Social Policy & Intergovernmental Relations Group.

Social Policy Branch covers social policy issues including Policing, Attorney General, Disability Reform, Family & Community Services the Department of Customer Service portfolios. It is focused on the strategic priorities within and across these portfolios to support improved social policy outcomes for communities and vulnerable people in particular.

Health, Education, Intergovernmental & Priorities Branch covers health, education, skills and early childhood policy, leads engagement with the Commonwealth and States & Territories and supports the Premier in his role at the National Cabinet driving NSW priorities nationally. The Branch also works closely with other agencies and departments to support the Government’s strategic priorities to ensure coordinated policy development.

The work you could do.

Partner with agencies across government to deliver major social policy reform including Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence; whole-of-government Child Wellbeing and child protection issues, key justice and legal policy matters, and on health and education.

Support the government to develop intergovernmental strategy and then help to execute it with the Commonwealth and other States and Territories.

Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12. Package includes base salary ($139,787 - $161,663) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
