  • Clerk Grade 7/8 ($106,025– $117,363) plus super and annual leave loading


About the Agency

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.

About the roles

The Project Officer performs project management and support activities that contribute to creating engaged partner and stakeholder networks that enhance disaster preparedness and confidence in recovery, especially in relation to critical infrastructure and essential community services.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Support of delivery partners and coordination of engagement and stakeholder meetings and forums
  • support the delivery of community focused projects as well as preparation of a range of partnership project-related documents including monthly status updates, quarterly reports, and discussion paper
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations

Location

The successful candidate is required to attend the Parramatta Office on occasion and as required. Travel may be required across NSW and to regional areas.

  • Proven experience and knowledge in community recovery
  • Track record of working collaboratively to provide business, project and operational support in a community focused environment
  • Ability to be flexible, show initiative and respond quickly when situations change
  • Someone who is able to use facts, knowledge and experience to put forward recommendations for program efficiencies
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to meet agency objectives
  • Ability to clearly communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
