The Role

Programmed Energy and Resources is currently seeking a motivated Fitter and Turner. You will be integral to the efficient operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fitting and turning tasks as per technical drawings and specifications.


• Conduct maintenance and repair activities on machinery and equipment.


• Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification.


• Forklift license (LF class).


• Confined Space entry certification.
  

Desirable Attributes:

• Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics systems.


• Experience in machining operations.


• Welding experience with alloys and stainless steel.
  

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Fitter and Turner or similar role.


• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.


• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.


• Excellent problem-solving skills.
