Disability Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, assistance with daily activities, and emotional support to individuals living with disabilities.


• Help clients to achieve their personal goals and independence.


• Assist in social, recreational, and community participation activities.


• Manage challenging behaviours and provide tailored support based on individual care plans.


• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Essential Requirements:

• Current Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Community Care.


• Experience with clients who have complex needs in an Aged Care or Community setting.


• Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and current car insurance.


• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.


• NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain).


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Desirable Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Patience, understanding, and ability to manage challenging behaviours.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• High level of professionalism and reliability.
