Role: Business Development Manager

Sector: Supported Accommodation - Learning Disabilities & Mental Health

Salary: Up to £45,000pa (DOE)

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Type: Office Based


Are you a dynamic, proactive Business Development professional ready to take your career to the next level?


We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead growth and make a real difference in the adult supported accommodation sector.


In this exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to drive strategic partnerships, secure new care and support packages, and build relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Direct Payment recipients, and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs). You’ll play a vital role in positioning the company as a leading provider of complex care.


What you’ll do:

  • Forge and nurture strategic relationships with Local Authorities, ICBs, and RSLs to secure new care contracts.
  • Collaborate with Registered Social Landlords to source adaptable properties for individuals with complex care needs.
  • Lead tender submissions and framework agreements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with senior management to deliver tailored care packages that align with our operational capabilities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and meetings, driving brand awareness and positioning us at the forefront of the care sector.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, leveraging insights to improve business development strategies.


What we’re looking for:

  • Proven business development experience, ideally in the health and social care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the complex care environment and experience working with Local Authorities, ICBs, and RSLs.
  • A successful track record in creating innovative partnerships and securing tenders and framework agreements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on delivering results.
