Head of Data & Analytics to be responsible for developing and executing the vision data reporting, management information systems, and automation initiatives within the Group Information Security Office for a Financial Service business.

This is a brand new role for the organisation, you will have the autonomy to define execute the data strategy, build the team from scratch.

You will be working closely with the senior leadership team delivering data-driven insights to enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and achieve strategic goals.

The role:

• Develop strategy for MI, reporting and AI to meet business objectives.
• Design and deliver MI systems (Power BI & Tableau).
• Drive adoption of best practices in data management, reporting and automation.
• Create and oversee dashboards to enable data-driven decisions.
• Develop the AI strategy to automate tasks and processes.
• Establish data governance policies.

You will need to have:

• Proven leadership experience in a large, international and complex organisation.
• Deep understanding of data management, reporting frameworks, and AI technologies.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (eg, Power BI, Tableau).
• SQL, and relevant programming languages (eg, Python, R).
• Extensive experience with RPA tools (eg, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and process automation methodologies.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, data science, business analytics, computer science, or a related field.
