Vacancy: Business Change Analyst - HR Digital (Fixed Term)

Location: Royston

As a Business Change Analyst - HR Digital, you will be responsible for planning and delivering business change activities as part of defined HR Digital programmes, specifically Global Time Tracking and Global Payroll, ensuring that changes to processes, ways of working and supporting applications are understood and impacted groups are ready and prepared for the changes.

This will involve working closely with the programme teams, local HR teams, the Comms Lead supporting HR Digital programmes and the wider Business Change Team, to ensure effective, on-time delivery of business change activities, using the JM Business Change Framework & toolkit in line with the agreed approach for HR Digital Programmes.

In addition, the role holder will contribute to the ongoing evolution of the JM Business Change Framework by using the existing tools and templates and contributing lessons learned and suggested additions to the toolkit.

Your responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver business change for Global Time Tracking and Global Payroll, ensuring effective support, learning, and communication to drive readiness and adoption of changes in structures, processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to prepare colleagues and impacted groups, and measure and report on readiness and adoption metrics to support the HR Digital business case.
  • Review and maintain the Change & Learning Approach, assist in creating the business change section of the project plan, and ensure change activities are integrated into the overall project approach.
  • Prepare and present the Business Change Approach for approval, work with programme and local HR teams to ensure visible sponsorship and support, and enable a change network for readiness and adoption.
  • Guide and support the planning and delivery of business change activities, conduct business impact assessments, develop Business Action Trackers, and track and report completion of Change Actions.
  • Support the development of communications and learning activities, including creating and updating materials, managing translations, and measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of business change activities.


Requirements for the role:
  • Knowledge of good practice in the following areas or the ability to apply previous experience to the areas of business change, communications and learning. Also experience of IT-enabled transformation programmes.
  • Experience delivering change within HR is desirable, and experience supporting training and development across diverse populations is also beneficial.
  • Proven experience in working across cultures and geographies, managing multiple stakeholders at all organizational levels, and familiarity with project management disciplines is essential.
  • Experience working effectively within a matrix model involving multiple contributors and shaping materials to support business change is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and strong personal skills including building trust, excellent communication, team success contributions, adaptability, and proactive action are essential.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively, maintain high standards of performance, and ensure successful completion of tasks while adapting to change is crucial.
