Sustainability Engineer

The Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote environmental responsibility and resource efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This role will focus on reducing the company's carbon footprint, improving energy efficiency, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while driving innovation in sustainable product design and production. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver impactful sustainability initiatives across the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainable practices and a proven track record in fostering growth and innovation. In this role, you will identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and advocate for cleaner, more efficient technologies, all aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving urban air quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement the company's sustainability strategy aligned with divisional targets and core values.
• Assess both the company's and customer’s environmental and social impact, identifying areas for improvement, and setting measurable goals with a focus on business outcomes for both parties.
• Provide consultancy on renewable energy options and clean technologies, helping customers improve their sustainability roadmap.
• Embed sustainability principles into customers' business strategies, driving positive change and exploring new revenue streams targeting sustainable products.
• Collaborate with other divisions to develop sales tools supporting the promotion of low and zero-carbon solutions.
• Ensure that all processes comply with relevant environmental regulations and industry standards. Work with internal teams to meet environmental reporting requirements.
• Map and engage key national contractors and players who will use or apply sustainable solutions, ensuring a strong understanding of competitive advantages.
• Periodically report on sustainability outcomes, including carbon footprint, product portfolio results, and market/competitor analysis.

Requirements:

• University degree or higher, preferably in mechanical engineering, environmental policies, or related fields.
• Over 5 years’ experience in marketing or sales within green technologies, air compressors, construction equipment, or engineering.
• Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in PPT, Excel, etc.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for product training and business events.
