Marketing Communications Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Lead to join our team at William Russell.

Running the company’s broker engagement programme, the role is a blend of product marketing, sales enablement, LinkedIn marketing, and communications.

About you

You have at least 5 years’ marcomms experience which includes working for an insurance company, broker or MGA that sells private health insurance, life insurance, or income protection insurance; so you have worked with insurance brokers and intermediaries.

You have strong writing/editorial skills; experience running ad campaigns on social media platforms and running webinars; and excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Your technical skills include a sound working knowledge of Adobe InDesign; design/prototyping tools such as Figma, FigJam, XD, Sketch or Balsamiq; and email marketing programmes (e.g., Mailgun, Mailchimp, Hubspot).

You have integrity; are self-motivated; able to work on your own initiative; and have a demonstrable passion & curiosity for marketing.

The role

You will build and execute a marketing programme to engage and activate our brokers. You will work closely with our business development managers, who own the day-to-day relationships with the brokers.

Aside from running our marketing communications operation, you’ll find yourself involved in brand development, marketing automation, advertising and UX, so you’ll have opportunity to develop or demonstrate your wider marketing experience
